Overwatch has one job. It hovers over a drop zone, watches a payload land, and reports exactly how far it fell from the target. With a 30x zoom camera and a 1,000 m laser rangefinder, it frames the target and the landed payload in the same shot, which brings the miss distance measurement down to under half a metre. It carries no drop mechanism of its own.
